For a generously wide opening, the tilt & turn window is unbeatable and invaluable for ventilation in summer. Tilting the top of the window inwards just requires a single turn of the handle, and if you turn it some more, the whole of the window opens inwardly, which helps with keeping it clean.

Cottage windows look exactly how you would expect them to. Exuding charm, they come with beautiful Georgian bar detailing. Despite their very traditional styling, they meet all modern standards and can come in both UPVC and aluminium.

No-one could be criticised for playing it safe and opting for a traditional white colour – it never has or ever will go out of fashion. But it’s not for everyone. If you want something outside of white, then you’re in luck as Ecofit has managed to create an extensive range of colour options, including Grey, Irish Oak and Chartwell Green. They’ll all make your new double glazed windows catch the eye.

Applying our powder-coated finishes is not a quick undertaking. It needs 11 stages to achieve the truest of colours, and as we progress through those stages, strong paint adhesions are induced. Sublimation is the technique we follow for our contemporary aluminium woodgrain finishes, which we can produce in Walnut, Rosewood and Oak. These woodgrains are so believable, as believable as an authentic wood finish.

The glass is integral to the window, so remind yourself of that when it comes to selecting your glazing. It may be that you want a certain level of visibility, for instance. Notify us of that and we will cater for your wishes. We can offer glazing that gives you a crystal-clear view from the inside of the house, or a glass that does the total opposite. Privacy Glazing – There are certain rooms where you need your privacy, such as in the bathroom, bedroom or some other room that’s overlooked. That’s when our privacy glazing might come in handy. It can be integrated into our double and triple glazed window units.
